Qualified Welder (Den Helder)

About the position

We are constantly looking for experienced welders for long-term assignments at Defence in Den Helder, specifically for the Department of Material Maintenance (DMI). You will work in the workshop as well as aboard Royal Navy frigates and submarines. The activities range from general maintenance to participation in new construction projects.

What do we expect from you?

• At least a VMBO diploma in Metal Engineering
• Basic Safety Certificate (VCA)
• A valid VOG (Statement of Conduct), which we will arrange for you
• NIL welding diplomas for process 111 and 135, 136, or 138, supplemented with valid welding qualifications
• Team spirit and the ability to work well together
• A positive attitude towards feedback and constructive criticism
