About the position
In this role, you work in a permanent team at the Royal Navy's Naval Company (DMI) in Den Helder. You will be involved in the maintenance and overhaul of small vessels, which are used for Marine Corps amphibious operations and boarding teams, among others. These vessels contain high-quality technology that makes your technical heart beat faster.
You have a solid basis in mechanics and are not unfamiliar with electronics. In addition, you have a flexible attitude, you work accurately and you stick to agreements.
What do we expect from you?
- A completed course in Mechanical Engineering
- Basic Safety Certificate (VCA)
- A valid VOG (Statement of Conduct), which we provide in consultation with you
- Team spirit and good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and deal with constructive criticism
