What does the job include?
As a construction bench worker, you are responsible for processing, assembling and repairing metal structures. This can range from new construction projects and maintenance work to modernization and repairs. With your expertise, you contribute to high-quality work and safe structures.
Your day starts with reviewing the planning and technical drawings, so you know exactly what needs to be done. Next, you will work on processing and assembling metal parts and structures. You do this with various techniques, such as welding, grinding, sawing or drilling. From time to time, you repair or modify existing structures and carry out accurate quality controls to ensure a high-quality end result. During the day, you will meet regularly with performers and colleagues to coordinate the work properly. No day is the same: sometimes you work on a new construction project, the other time on maintenance or repairs. What all your days have in common is that your craftsmanship and precision make the difference.

What do you bring?

• At least a VMBO diploma in Metal Engineering, Construction, Banking or similar;
• In possession of a VCA basic safety certificate or willing to obtain it in the short term;
• A valid Statement of Conduct (VOG) or willingness to request one;
• Experience with construction work and metalworking techniques is an advantage;
• Good command of the Dutch language;
• You are proactive, collegial and quality-conscious.
