Crane operator

What does the job include?
As a crane operator on an 18-tonne crawler crane, you work on a variety of projects. You are responsible for carrying out lifting and excavating activities and ensure that the work goes safely, efficiently and on schedule. You work with contractors, ground workers and other colleagues on location and have an important role in the success of the projects.

What activities can you expect?
On the shop floor, you are the one who operates the 18-ton crawler crane with skill and does exactly what the project needs: from moving heavy materials to preparing excavation work. You ensure that the crane always remains operational by carrying out minor maintenance activities and checks, and you work closely with contractors and ground workers to support the planning. Safety always comes first; you pay attention to the environment, anticipate risks and discuss details with your manager in a timely manner. Thanks to your accurate way of working, you directly contribute to a smooth and safe project progress.

The job requirements:

• Experience with an 18-tonne crawler crane;
• A valid VCA certificate (or willing to obtain one);
• In possession of driving license B (preferably BE);
• Good command of the Dutch language.
